REALITY OF THE RAIN :
Back to Home
I was walking back from school
Enjoying the weather moist and cool
I was covered fully from head to toe
Holding my little one and walking slow
Yelp! she cried ,"Mommy,its raining"
Though it was a harmless rain falling
To prevent ourselves from any disaster
We had to run fast for our Shelter

ReplyDeleteDear Uma,
ReplyDeleteGood Morning!
What a splash,dear!
Beautiful picture and lovely words!
I love pitter patter raindrops
Falling through the leaves
And on my tiled roof...
Wishing you a wonderful day ahead,

ReplyDeleteShort Poems
Cold rain evokes feelings of security in the sheltered. Yes, I found meaning in all these delightful little poems, even the image of running to protect you and your infant from 'imagined' disasters!
ReplyDeleteBoth of these are very nice - it's always funny how our first response is to get out of the rain and yet we shower and swim. hmmm. Like your style.
ReplyDeleteThese are quiet lovely; though the second one stole my heart!
