Beware ! They are contagious

Sometimes I feel the need to expose myself , need to defend myself and the need to protect myself.Whenever I feel layed down,I search for doing things that motivates me instead of making me more vulnerable to it.I love my mom and the Internet for that.My mom is a struggle survivor from the young and the internet is my stress-buster.Lots of inspiring quotes and videos to find.Yes,I believe that a little word of hope provides the strength to move on.Quotes like "What you sow is what you reap " is very true.Whenever we do things ,we don't think of the consequences after we have reacted. They may be worse if we have reacted in bad way or brings in good fortune if we did reacted in a good way.Ah! lots of lessons learned and still learning on my way.You may feel that I am true when you read the below post .(The last para submitted for Sunday 160)

Beware ! They are contagious

Walking with heavy heart on the road
thinking about my life I sigh
a cute baby with turner's syndrome
playing ad mist her home
turned at me and smiled
The smile on that baby's face
it’s so contagious
I smiled back

Here comes the soaps episode after episode
seeing ladies at home and office tormented persistently
the anxiety in their voice  made the place
so angry drowning in
that sadness in me
it’s so contagious
I started to react, crying

Coming home I saw my spouse waiting for me
happiness drained when he caught me
complaining life and
hurting my ego
I felt the edge to defend myself
it’s so contagious
I striked back at him

I was returning home after a long trip
back at home my parents and friends
hugged me tight
their love and smile
filled that place with colours
I felt very wanted
it’s so contagious
I reciprocated back
Whatever or However we may be with our list
Of Love or Hate, Happy or Sad ,Egoist or Altruist
They are like virus-very infectious and
Beware! They are contagious

Serenity !

Three Haiku's (5-7-5) for you wherein the serenity plays different roles of helping one's mind to calmness  in the first poem and alluring one's mind to calmness in the second poem  .In the last poem the serenity is Balanced.

Leads thy mind to thwart
Obsession needs a rescue
Serenity Aids!

So deep is your love
When I look into your eyes
Confessed serene look

The Seven Sins of
Wrath ,Greed,Sloth,Pride,Lust,Spite,Gorge

Balance them with love
Your heart becomes a temple
Where serene lasts ever

An opened window - A prisoner

Every wednesday, poeters are given picture prompt by Magpie Tales. We have to write a poem or short vignette using the picture featured in their post as our inspiration. The below picture prompted me to write Two Haiku's (5-7-5) of an opened window.

Haiku 1: Thoughts of a person caught in prison mentally

Through darkness I saw
A lost opportunity
An escape shines bright

Haiku 2: Thoughts of a person caught in prison physically

Darkness everywhere
My only way to escape
An opened window
Poem above written for Magpie Tales picture prompt.

With 160 Characters , Two Poems and An Award

I was wondering what to write for Sunday 160.As usual ,it was raining outside and the weather was a nice time to write poems for a poeter like me.I got two ideas-rain and tears, dark and cold.I came up with two poems each one counting up to 160 characters including spaces.Yes,the weather was right to pin down more poems.I posted them.I merged in two photos together as one so that you may get an idea of my two poems. With the picture and the poem, from left to right, from the tree to the boy ..both talk their feelings out...

In Autumn
gulping in the dark night
waiting for a better tomorrow
for my answer
I pray
God never let me down
closed my eyes
drops of tears
fall upon the wet ground
as withered leaves

Stood staring out of the window
Standing alone in the cold
Gulping in the dark night
Waiting for a better tomorrow
I prayed
God never let me down
closed my eyes
drops of tears
fall upon the floor

Mellow fruitfulness

The Autumn has began with the leaves falling away from the trees painting the roads colourful. Here is a poem ,welcoming Autumn

Autumn leaves
Painting by Peppi Elona

Paintings of spring and summer
are withered away
Cleaning the body of trees by wind,
flowers and leaves fall-away
Making them free of makeups to get dressed up
ready for the advancing weather
Bringing in a smooth transition
from the hot summer to the cold winter
Halloween!.....the longest possible holiday
expected to be somewhat ghostlier
With the arrival of night
that becomes noticeably earlier
Mixed with a certain melancholy
linked to the arrival of harsh weather
Its a time of mellow fruitfulness that slowly gather
The story of fall is adventuresome
Yes...,The Autumn has come

The Inside Of The Moon

The below poem is based on the concept of how the moon and mystery inside the earth triggered my imagination of some invisible life in the Moon.

INVISIBLE SAPIENS (IN THE MOON)

Birds in air and angles in sky fly
On the other side of the rainbow a planet lies
Stars and comets in the open space
Fire Liquid at the Earth's Base
See the moon where our ancestors live
Good, they are together like honeybees in a hive
They have their own culture and tradition
Also the women there have their own fashion
The singers above sing like a nightingale
Sleeping on the sweet breeze as they sail
There’s no pollution because for absent air
The climate, not hot nor cold but fair
There’s no violence for the lack of weapon
Dear! Because they are all invisible
SAPIENS

A love story of the Moon with the clouds " The Moon shy away as he plays... "

A little about the Moon:
The Moon is a wonderful ball of crust much smaller in size than our Earth .The interior of the moon is cooler than that of the earth. The moon is divided into four parts :the crust, rigid lithospheric mantle,non-rigid mantle and the core. The crust is always dry and dusty and the core is assumed to be a iron-rock .The recent discovery of water on the moon brings hope that there is life revolving around the moon .

Neil Armstorng , a NASA astronomer is the first man to land on the moon.Chandrayaan-1 launched from India's Satish Dhawan Space Centre on October 21, began orbiting the moon on November 8.The first images of the moon's coldest, darkest craters are being studied by scientists, after they were captured by a radar flying aboard India's Chandrayaan-1 spacecraft. Scientists are also using Nasa's radar instrument (Mini-SAR) to map and search the insides of the craters for water ice.The scientist are researching more of the moon and some day ,we get to see more of the moon like we see the earth .

As the moonlight breaks the darkness of the night
The magic of your presence is felt tight
The coldness brings more closeness to your scent
I breath in your flavor and my loneliness went
We fly high in love over the Moon
Dancing till dawn hypnostised by its tune

A love story of the Moon with the clouds " The Moon shy away as he plays...... "
