"Words Words Words ...."
What are they but grimy patina,on a gleaming surface
scrub hard
and you will yourself feel. . .
the chaste emotion laced with hard nut shell. . . "

it is a individuals ability and desire to emote outwardly with words that makes a poet and his medium poetry....
loved the poem.

ha in many ways that is what we do...measuring them as we pen them to paper, like butterflies to explore later again and again...

I love the idea of the poet that you paint with your own words. You have captured them as much as they capture us, it seems. :)

Some neat observations on the creative process here. In looking at and writing about the world around us and those in it, we also become readers of our own minds. Don't you agree?

Joseph Hesch is onto something about being our own mind readers. Uma, although if you want to publish this, I'd have some suggestions regarding editing, I have to say, this is a wonderful poem about how we do what we do... and why. Lovely thoughts! Peace, Amy
