The Whispering Dewdrops - Labor (L) poetry

Challenge Yourself! Yes,this makes me to write and think more even while sleeping making my April addicted to poetry. Is it for good ?  For one reason... Yes,I write more.

NaPoWriMo prompt of writing continuous 40 lines of poems ,breaking short and A to Z Challenge for the twelfth letter in the Alphabet "L" ,I have chosen the word "LABOR"

Labor
 for men and women
the work
their daily chores
energy spent
for
the money
and
for
living life

Labor
for women
the stress
the struggle
energy spend
for
giving birth
to
their future

Labor
the former
earns
the bread
for family
to feed
the body
for living a life
alive

Labor
the latter
earns
a life
from the body
giving
a family
a reason
to live their life
satisfied

Both Labors
are
Life's Activity

Endeavor them!

  3. This ended up differently than I thought it would. I like the positivity infused throughout about the inevitably of life's hard work. It's sometimes easier to see things through a negative lens.

  6. That was a commendable effort of poetry.

All play and no labor would make us duller than Jack who is all work and no play. Labor is life's activity while play is life's frivolity and escape.
